By booking an eco tour with Philippines EcoTravel Inc., you accept these Terms and
Conditions, as well as our Eco-Tourism Code of Ethics. If you do not agree,
please do not use our services.
🌱 Eco-Tourism Commitment: By traveling with us, you commit to respecting
nature, minimizing your environmental impact and supporting local communities. Every traveler is an
ambassador of conservation.

- "Ecotourism": Responsible travel to natural areas that conserves the environment

improves the well-being of local communities.
- "Eco Tour": Program designed with environmental, social and
economic sustainability criteria.
- "Carbon Neutral": 100% compensation of CO₂ emissions through
reforestation.
- "Eco-Certified Guide": Professional with training in conservation and sustainable
tourism.
- "Eco-lodge": Accommodation with environmental sustainability certification.
4. Eco-Tourism Services Offered
4.1 Eco Tour Categories
- Bird Watching: Responsible bird observation with ornithologist guides.
- Rainforest Immersion: Eco-lodge stays with indigenous communities.

protocols.

5. Rates, Payments and Environmental Contribution

5.3 Eco-Responsible Payment Methods
- Credit/debit cards (paperless digital processing)
- Bank transfer

- Cash at office (minimized to reduce impact)
5.4 Booking Policy
- Deposit: 40% to confirm booking
- Balance: 72 hours before the eco tour
- Small groups: Maximum 8 people to minimize impact
- Family group discount (4+ members): 12%
- Early booking discount (45+ days): 18%
6. Eco-Flexible Cancellation Policy
6.1 Cancellations by Client
🌿 Sustainable Refunds:
- More than 45 days: 95% refund (5% for reforestation costs already
initiated)
- Between 30 and 45 days: 70% refund
- Between 15 and 30 days: 40% refund
- Less than 15 days: No refund (trees already planted, eco-lodges booked)
- No-show: No refund
Note: Non-refunded funds go to conservation projects.
6.2 Cancellations due to Environmental Conditions
Philippines EcoTravel may cancel due to:
- Extreme weather phenomena that compromise safety
- Environmental alerts from authorities (forest fires, floods, typhoons)
- Closure of protected areas for conservation
- Nesting season of protected species (with prior notice)
In these cases: Full refund or rescheduling at no cost.
6.3 Flexible Rescheduling
- Up to 30 days before: No rescheduling fee
- Between 15-30 days: 10% of total value
- Maximum 2 rescheduling per booking
7. Requirements and Eco-Tourism Code of Conduct
7.1 General Requirements
- Minimum age: 8 years (with responsible adult)
- Minors 8-18: Notarized parental authorization
- Physical condition: Moderate for hiking (check per tour)
- Vaccines: Consult with doctor for specific destinations
7.2 Environmental Code of Ethics (Mandatory)
All participants must:
- Leave no trace: Carry all your waste back
- Respect wildlife: Maintain minimum distance (5 meters birds, 10 meters mammals)
- Do not feed animals: Alters natural behavior
- Minimal noise: Especially in nesting areas
- Do not extract flora: Photos yes, collection no
- Use marked trails: To protect soils and vegetation
- Biodegradable products: Reef-safe sunscreen, natural repellent
- Reusable water: Thermos/canteen mandatory (no single-use plastics)
⚠️ IMPORTANT: Failure to comply with the Environmental Code of Ethics may result in
immediate expulsion from the tour without refund. Conservation is our priority.
7.3 Medical Restrictions
Consult with doctor if you have:
- Heart or respiratory problems
- Severe allergies to insect bites
- Reduced mobility (we offer adapted tours)
- Pregnancy (some tours not recommended)
8. Responsibilities and Insurance
8.1 Traveler Responsibility
- Follow instructions from eco-certified guide
- Declare relevant medical conditions
- Respect schedules and local communities
- No alcohol/drugs during activities
8.2 Philippines EcoTravel Responsibility
- Provide guides certified in first aid and conservation
- Safety equipment in good condition
- Certified sustainable accommodation
- Comply with responsible wildlife observation protocols
- Plant 5 native trees per participant (verifiable)
- Offset 100% carbon footprint
8.3 Insurance Included
- Personal accident insurance up to ₱650,000 PHP
- Emergency medical assistance
- Evacuation in remote areas
Recommended: Additional international travel insurance.
9. Sustainability and Transparency
9.1 Our Verifiable Commitment
- 25,000+ trees planted since 2020 (geo-referenced)
- 15% of income to local communities (public annual reports)
- Certified carbon neutral (annual audit)
- Small groups (max 8 people) to minimize impact
9.2 Your Positive Environmental Impact

10. Eco-Responsible Equipment

- Must bring: Reusable thermos/canteen, reef-safe sunscreen, neutral-colored clothing
- Prohibited: Single-use plastics, harmful chemicals
11. Photography and Social Media
- You may photograph nature without flash (disturbs wildlife)
- Authorization required for photos of indigenous communities
- Tag #PhilippinesEcoTravel #SustainableTourism on social media
- We may use your photos for promotion (with prior permission)
12. Data Protection
Processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy (Data Privacy Act of
2012).
